Fundraising helps us to be able to support the Pre-school throughout the year and below is some of the events planned and how we do this.
Christmas Fayre
Our annual Christmas Fayre follows our Nativity Play where all the children get to take part in the performance. This Nativity and Fayre was on Wednesday 19th December 2019. Sadly we were not able to have an event in 2020, but we had Surprise Christmas Bags Raffle
We appreciated all donations given for prizes, they certainly helped to make this event a success.
Christmas Dinner
Every year we have a traditional Christmas dinner, including sprouts! and all children are invited. There is no charge for this.

Easter Fayre & Bonnet Parade
The Easter Fayre is run alongside our Easter ‘Bonnet’ parade. Children can make their own bonnets ready to wear on the parade through town. We then walk back to the Baptist Centre and hold the Fayre in the top hall.
There are always various stalls and activities on offer. Donations for prizes, cakes, toys etc to put on the stalls are gratefully received. Unfortunately we had to cancel our 2020 & 2021 Parades due to Covid19
Our 2022 parade will be on Monday 28th March
Sports Day
This isn’t about fundraising it’s our free annual end of year fun day where the children can have some fun racing against each other in the various events in Victoria Park.
This years (2020) was very different - we held a small event in the upstairs hall for those children who returned after lockdown - it was mayhem, but the children enjoyed themselves & that’s all that mattered!
